Adding supporting documents

Supporting documents can be attached to a rights object. Rights managers can import contract or detailed documents to the repository, so that they can be attached to the intellectual property rights profiles, that are assigned to files. Any documents that have been attached to a rights object are automatically included in the Supporting Documents list. The Supporting Documents list can be accessed by a direct link when attaching supporting documents to a right or a rights object.

To Add or Remove Supporting Documents in an IP Rights Tab:

  1. Locate and select one or more files in the repository with rights.

  2. Open the Properties for the file(s) or click the rights icon ().

  3. Select a right from Existing IP Rights

  4. Click Attach Supporting Document Link.

  5. Browse for the document that you need to attach.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Repeat the sequence for attaching more supporting documents.

All the attached Supporting Documents are displayed below.

To delete an attached Supporting Document, click the icon.
