For documents with storyboards that are viewable in the storyboard viewer, you may select an alternate page or slide as the document thumbnail that is shown on list pages. For example, if your presentation has a generic company logo as the first page, you may select the second page as the thumbnail representation of the presentation. This makes the presentation identifiable in a document list.
To override a document thumbnail in Active Preview:
Navigate to and select an applicable multipage document.
Select View > Properties > Storyboard.
The Properties dialog opens.
If Active Preview is not active, click the Active Preview tab.
Active Preview opens, displaying the document storyboard in the page selector pane and the page viewer pane.
In the page selector pane, select the slide or page to use as the document thumbnail.
Click the icon.
Click OK to save your changes.
