Creating a workflow template for editorial publishing using the built-in workflow template editor

The built-in workflow template editor refers to system-level performer types and states. You must define the performer types and states to be used in the workflow template before you define the workflow template.

To create a workflow template using the built-in editor:

  1. Click the Administration node to expand it.

  2. Click the Publishing Manager node to expand it.

  3. Click Workflow Templates.

  4. Click Add.

    The Create Workflow Template screen appears.

  5. Enter the required information:

    1. Enter the name of the workflow.

    2. Select a workflow state.

    3. Select a performer type.

    4. Click Add.

    5. Repeat for all states you want to add to the workflow template.

    6. Click OK.

      The Create Workflow Template screen closes.

    The new workflow template appears in the list of workflow templates.
